The Great Outdoors

Apologies for lack of correspondence- since I last blogged, I’ve been traipsing round Australia’s Fraser Island. And evidently sand dunes in the middle of nowhere aren’t too hot with high-speed wifi just yet. Who’d have thought it?!

But in blog terms at least (see previous post) the visit couldn’t have been better timed. There was so much colour inspiration…everywhere! From blood orange sap trickling down the bark of trees, to a glimmer oyster shell or the twinkling green of raindrops hitting the lake.

Considering the whole island is basically just a giant sand castle- made of billions of individual sand particles which have blown off mainland Australia over hundreds of thousands of years – it oozes with life.
