Los Angeles Freewalls

Posted by Suzi | May 8, 2012

In 2002, LA issued a street art prohibition- forbidding anyone to create art in public places without a permit.  LA Freewalls has been been on a mission to restore the city back to a metropolis of murals ever since.

Their ultimate goal is not to plaster graffiti and “art” for the sake of it but to foster creative expression, beautify and add uniqueness to the richly colourful fabric of the city.

Reminding people that art can add soul and life and capture imaginations and hearts; I love their work.
