Happy Monday

Posted by Suzi | October 8, 2012

Here are some funny Monday facts; the average person won’t crack a smile today until 11.16am and will then probably  moan about what day of the week it is for roughly 12 minutes. Add to that that boozing mice in laboratories get the blues after a weekend of moderate drinking (I kid you not, see New Scientist’s research here) and it seems most of us will have, at best, a pretty average day today.

Unlike any other random Tues, Wed, Thurs – the mere mention of the M-word can provoke loud groans of dismay, palm-sweats, that familiar sudden rush of dread. But the thing is (and heck I’ve done my fair share M-day bitching), it is just another day.

And in fact, depending on how you look on it, it can be a wonderful fresh start! Last week I was in true hamster-wheel mode; wanting to get so many different projects done, exhausting myself, agreeing to go here, there and everywhere (hence the blog neglect- so sorry peeps). This week I’m re-focusing. Doing the whole quality over quantity thing.

And to brighten it, I thought I’d start with a Happy Monday feature. Not dedicated to the 1980′s alternative English rock band from Salford, but rather a round-up of fun little homie bits and pieces currently making me happy. What do you think?
