2012: Liberty Spring Scarves

Posted by Suzi | May 10, 2012

Digitally printed they may be, but Liberty’s latest drop of silk scarves couldn’t be more romantically inspired. From the spotted pink recaptured from that dress in Alesso Baldovinetti’s Portrait of a Lady’ (1465) to the chaotic bookcase taken from Somerset House- each pattern has it’s own rather quaint story to tell. I’d love to use them as cushion covers and dot them around a gorgeous old library (along with creaky floors, cosy fires and an endless supply of Scotch, obviously).
